Joyride: PHLxDET is an immersive weekend trip (Oct 1-4, 2026) bringing together 20 curious and civic-minded Philadelphians to connect with Detroit through its people, neighborhoods, history, and culture, to discover how a city that transformed the world continues to reinvent itself.

Philly participants will travel to Detroit on their own, Thursday October 1st and stay at Hostel Detroit with the Philly group until Sunday, October 4th. Registration costs will include most* other expenses.

Detroiters are invited to participate in some Joyride events scheduled throughout the weekend at an a-la-carte price. This is an opportunity to network and show off our city!

Registration and pricing will be announced in late July.
