Joyride PHLxDET is a long weekend adventure for curious and creative Philadelphians to explore Detroit. Thursday-Sunday, October 1-4, 2026 we invite you on a journey centered around joy and community with 19 of your newest friends!

 

Early birds receive a discounted package price of $500 – this includes:

• 3 night stay at Hostel Detroit (please note this is communal living and have summer camp vibes!) 

• A curated weekend of fun and access to all scheduled activities, including but not limited to: 

  • Detroit in Context bus tour with City Institute 

  • People Mover tour and ride along 

  • Workout class at Detroit Body Garage 

  • Group bike ride 

  • First look at Detroit's new Riverwards Produce, a Philly fave

  • Late night dancing and/or karaoke 

• Breakfast Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning
